ISAIAH 11 v 16 The Highway
On the highway of the Lord,
take care where you tread,
for many start with good intention,
then through pride & greed they
twist the words I have said.
They say theres Peace, when they
see the comming of fear and dread.
They set hurdles before you that
are to high, my sheep attempt the
hurdles some break their legs, fall
and die. others come up against a wall
and cannot remain on the path at all,
instead they leave the path in dismay,
and seek to find Me another way.
till they are out of breath and their
sorry end is death.
Jump over the hurdle, I am there,
go through the wall. Remember
what I say, belive that I am
the truth, the life the way.

Comment by Old Woman on July 16, 2009 at 10:54pm - It is hard to walk on that narrow path Chris but having loving friends like you who are filled with the light of Jesus walking that path with us makes that walk a little easier. You are a blessing to so many of us here.

The year have been long
I choose to go on, even tho
I may look soiled and tattered.
My God is so Great, I feel the
long wait will stir me to fall
and get battered.
I once had a vision of me as
the lamb all alone and all my
legs broken..the blood on the
ground and there was my Lord
Now I am mended and hurdles
I jump with the greatest of ease.
I feel a slight push when I am weary.
I do remember in Him who says,
I am the truth and the way.
