Big Boys Don't Cry

According to TV reality shows these days, it seems almost compulsory that male participants display their vulnerability by shedding a bag load of tears. Church, as I have known it, frowns on male displays of emotion, especially tears. I have encountered and witnessed so many times where for a man to display emotion = weakness. Today I was in my daughters school helping with little practicle lessons on hygene. When I arrived home I reolized in hinesight that half of the lesson i had duplicated . If I noticed after surely the teachers psesent also noticed, and I feel regret. I am only a volunteer yet I feel resposible for getting the lesson right. He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."
