sorry not be on here for a while i was in a bad car accident last weekend,and as a result i have a collar round my neck,a broken ankle and a broken arm.
Would really appreciate your prayers as i am feeling nausious as well.

I have not has a social life since i was divorced,i can't even remember what a social life is.
my life now is looking after myself and going to church i live for god now.
lord i pray for all those marching through London on saturday,may thet do so in an orderly fashion as not to disrupt people going about their daily business.
May people be aware of what is happening and for the G20 summit leaders to put people first.

Roy said… - I read your comments and know how you feel - there is no easy answer to this. Church life is family orientated and a minister told me once, that church was a tough place for singles. His rather narrow outlook did much to make it that way. We can't deny our humanity, or the way that God has made us. It seems sometimes that folk would have us do that.
Equally we need to be aware that our humanity maybe got us into the mess we are in. Truth and love are in short supply in this world, and not so plentiful in the church sometimes. Purity is a blessing - paranoia about it isn't. Your feelings of isolation are common enough, but we do have a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Sometimes alas - we ourselves are so attuned to isolation - we lose the knack of being friendly.

- It's a tough call being divorced in church - Don Francisco said that the Bible tells us that God hates divorce, but that many times we've taken that beyond what God intended, and made divorce an unpardonable sin. He added that divorced people can be among the most desperate and hurting people - and that they need love and not condemnation. I've known some of both since mine - 12 years ago - it wearies you of church life sometimes.
