I think we are warned about tongues rather than being exhorted to use them. Tongues are accepted and were accepted amongst early Christians but Paul was very cautious about it all. Quite right too.

Are you on LinkedIn and Facebook?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more connections and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on LinkedIn and Facebook are usually about my fight or social networking tips.

thanks maxine, come take a look at the poetry page . I am the creator of this group and it is a peaceful place where people live in harmony (at least almost all the time) One person did leave because she got upset and I did have to delete one poem once because I thought a bit near the offensive mark. There are lots of postive things there to take ones ind away form pointless clatter. I think ! corinitians 13 comes to mind about a symbol and a clanging gong but without love it is nothing. bless you . lets biuld oe another up and stick to emulating 1 corintians 13 esp as valentines day is tomorrow!

They have also put on one about "the Hiding Place"corrie ten boom and the latest isd called Rebecca which is the story of an indonesian doctor who was teaching children in a sunday school in her house and was arrested and puit in prision. This is a modern story I think she was only released last year. They were done jointly with Open Doors .
