Hey Lizzie how you doing... I was just about to tell Tony off for not sending me a message... he did but he sent it to himself addressed to me!!!! How are you any way.. How's the early mornings going... I've been bad really as I haven't emailed Tony since you left the show.. but I will start doing it again soon.The reason I have been waking up to late on a Saturday Morning., I mentioned to Tony that I have a MRI Scan next Thursday afternoon to see if the small cyst I have has grown and also a Rheumatology Appointment on Monday.. Please pray that these I both go well... Also I've had a form to fill in from work about my Medical Retirement asking Why do I think I qualify for early retirement. I have filled this in as honestly as I can. They say they have received my Medical Reports so please pray that this will not take much longer and only as long as God wants it to...

Hey Lizzie.. sorry to hear it was your last show with Tony today..well at least you won't get rid of me that easy,, you will still find me here, Is it a secret or can you tell me what you are doing?
Like I said in both my texts thanks for everything even playing all those Michael W Smith songs for me.
What is Tony going to do without you to keep him in order on a Saturday Morning now,he has his wife during the week but no one on a Saturday now...
Jeremiah 29V11-14 is my favourite verse and I know it is yours as well.. for he knows the plans he has for you all you have to do is trust

Lizzie of course I did.., I was having breakfast in bed!!! which had been cooked for me by my husband.. I heard three different songs by him over the weekend... you played one on the show, then Michael Cleare played one on his show on Sunday Morning I think it was a Christmas one!! then John Cristos played one one Sunday evening.. He played Breath.. so you can see I was quite a happy bunny over the weekend
I've had a bad day today with all my aches and pains.,, but hey never mind I'm not letting it get to me as I have God on my side!!!! and know that it is well with my soul and I am being healed daily by him!!!

Hi Lizzie how are you... I am fine.. had a hospital appointment on Thursday with my Rheumatologist
and received my latest MI scan results... The scan showed up that I have small cyst on my liver.. they are not sure wheter it is cancerous or not.. so I have another one in six months time, so hopefully this one will be fine,please pray that it will. loved the shows last week especially Rick & Coders in the morning.

Thanks Lizzie... that is the verse in Jer: 29:11-14 I have been reading this week and meditating on this week... I know the Lord has plans for me and they are giving me a hope and a future as I think about what I am going to do;. One of the things I would like to do is a couple of courses one music and the other history if I can find a college that does them. I know if this within Gods plan he will make a way for me where there seems to be no way and I know he also works in ways I cannot see. I sure am glad I belong to Him and He is number one in my life because if he wasn't I don't know what I would do... I'd be lost without a purpose and hope in my life.
I know he has plans for me, and I know I have a hope and a future with him. I wouldn't want it any other way.

Ho Lizzie... I'm okay... at the moment I am using Steve's computer to have a look at my messages.
I still really ache... especially in the morning and sometimes during the day. I try and go out for a walk everyday. As I have said in my blog..I am going to take medical retirement from work.. as I think this is the best thing to do. I know God is in this with me and everything will turn out fine because I know that this is what God wants me to do..
By the way David Aldous has been playing a mega lot of Michael W Smith on Hope in the Night especially The Wonderful Cross.. so even though I have only been able to contact the show by text message which isn't the same as email I know I have been hearing my favourite singer every niight more or less!!!!
Please can you pray for my next rheumatology appointment on the 26th of this month that everything goes well and the new medication they have put me on is working and they keep me on this!!! Will keep you up to date on how things are going.
Love to Tony and ask him why he hasn't answered my comment I sent him quite a while ago!!!

Hi Lizzie how are you... sorry haven't been in touch as I don't have a computer at the moment as it has decided not to work.. enjpyed the Big Breakfast this morning (Sat 10th) loved listening to some of the reminissing that Tony did, especially loved the rollercoaster one... made me laugh!!!
I think the reason my computer isn't working is its all the Michael W Smith songs I've been requesting!!! Hope to get a new computer soon!!! so I will be back on line and emailing the programme as ususal... Will update on my health in a minute with an e-mail to everyone!!!

Thanks for your reply. I have taken a while to get back to you too, so I can't remember all of what I said to you originally now and how we have mutual friends.
Anyway, to answer your question, we came to Canada after being in Africa for four years, working in a Chrisitan boarding school there. I was in a school here, but have now moved on and am still seeking God's direction in my life, as I would still loved to be involved in Christian ministry, but find myself in teaching music, which I know can be used by God too.
If you ever have a moment to pray, we would welcome your prayers as things have not been easy here in Canada and we need God's voice to speak and show us the next step. When God is silent it is never easy, not that we vare expecting ease but just need to have things clearer and less complicated. Right now we could do with a miracle and a keen sense of what he wants us to do regarding where we live. I don't like asking someone who I don't even know to be burdened with this, but if you get anything from God for us, I would welcome it, no pressure of course!
Well, I won't go on at length, but sometime do share what your life path has been so far and keep going for it on the radio! If you see my cousin David at all, please say Hi to him from me and tell him to get in touch.

I am David Aldous' cousin and I also understand you know Helen Marple Horvat who I know from Bristol days. both she and I have moved on, we are now in Canada and she is in the Midlands with her husband.
I am interested to know what you do on Premier. We don't obviously get the radio here but I have joined the network and it has been good to get to know a few more Christian people.
