- Hello H. You will be in my prayers tonight. I can empathise a lot with you. it took almost 2 years to have my Father's estate settled! Many phone calls and tears of frustration. Especially as my younger brother was dying of throat Cancer too. I will pray for your husband, 'God moves in mysterious ways' I am sure you know that. We ned to pray for him. I am already praying for ALL childen returning to school. Some when back here on Thursday, but most schools return this Monday. Four of my Grandchilden among them! I will pray for your work too, I have ben retired over 10 years now, but I do understand work is far more pressured and competitve now that it was then! Your Church, you know what they say, 'if you find a perfect Church, don't join it, you could spoil it' All of us a frail humans and we make mistakes, like any other 'family' we members have different tastes and opinions! The small MethodistChurch I attend, is no exception, even we we cannot agree we have to love each other and pray God will heal our hurts! My Grandparents on my Mother's side belonged to Elim Church, as a little girl I met Princikpal Jefferies and Pastor Tweed. My Gran when down to Londong for Principal Jefferies funeral. Somewhere I have some old 78 records of his singing. The Elim Church was very strong in Birmingham in the 1930's and 40's. My parents were married in the Central Elim Church called Graham Street, in the City Centre. I believe it is mosque now! Anyway I digess, sorry. You have just bought back some memories flooding back for me! Keep Praying and Keep Trusting, I will be happy to be your friend, if yo can do with an old Gran. that is! God Bless, Ruth V.
