Hi Cynthia,

Trust you are well + happy new year, how's weather with you in America here it's very frosty and cold.
We're on holiday till monday 12 january so hope to get a day to edinburgh on thursday was at Glasgow yesterday at a funeral + visit hearing dept. at hosptal on wednesday as my hearing aid has snapped.
My temporary job at marks + spencer is now finished so back to job serching again after the 12th, I've got confirmation from m+s that I've passed the assesment and don't have to go though the interview process for any I apply for in the next 6 months but having seen news today that m+s will be clearing over 1000 jobs it doesn't look promising but still keep an eye on the website at m+s but ofcourse in this financial crisis these vacancies may be even less than last year was but we'll wait and see and trust in the Lord who knows all our futures.
My last job was closed last march so have been looking for new job since with no success other than the short spells I had at m+s and with credit crunch biting in the prospects are not great with my age having just turned 55 + disability of a stammer which hinders communication jobs but we'll battle on.
Tellus more about yourself, job , family + interests ect, also it would be good to see your testimony on the testimony wall.
I am married to Christine for 18 years, just the two of us although Christine has her dad and sister but nothing on my side.
The facts behind 'in his grip' are that I received as a gift the book 'spititual revolution' - the history of operation mobilisation' and the copy I received was personally sighned by its founder George Verwer and he signed it with the words 'in his grip'.
I know what you mean about the church not really taken enough interest in the suffering church, the slavic gospel association now don't hold any 1 day conferences in Scotland because of lack of interest as so few turned up.
But most missionary meetings don't get the attendance as they would get in past generations. we've been a few holidays to Yorkshire although I've not been to Orkney although I've heard it's very nice countryside.
Well have a blessed week,
In His Grip,
Gordon

Hi,Cynthia, yes i dropped by your site.It was great and i forsee a great ministry ahead for you.Well this year looks very packed for me.On 28th november 2008 i launched the africa office of an international christian project(ministry sort of) with the support of Dr.Lawrence Tetteh,London.Later this year in august/september we will be launching the europe office for the project in london. My ministry is hoping to do some work with premier radio/tv.For now iam scouting around for a good location for an office and i'm hoping my friends like you would offer some advice as to best locations for christian work and affordability.i let you in on the details soon and i believe my ministry and yours are in for a great fruitful partnership for the Lord this year.Stay blessed with your family and know this.....that in Christ Jesus we are more than conquerors.

Hi Cynthia,
welcome to premier community, great to have you among us and trust you'll be blessed.
The voice of the martyrs here in the UK is called release international, of which I've just started getting their material which is very good + helpful in praying for the suffering church.
Well have a blessed time among us,
In His Grip,
Gordon
