CHIRSTMAS - joint poem task- lets have fun-
Make a poem of 9 lines
each word of the lne to start with a letter from CHRISTMAS---- preferably in the right order
for example
Carol singing
Holly swinging
Rolls of paper
Imitator
Santa letter
Teach them better
Mulled wine drinking
Alcohol stinking
Start of Christmas!
go on it is easy and sure you can improve on mine. It doesnt have to rhyme. funny serious the choice is yours!

Instant puddings follow
Shell fish starters,
Tinsel dressings on
Middle aged martyrs with
Addled thoughts from
Sozzled partyers burbling
“Happy Christmas”.

Christ is still this season's reason of Hope;
Harps of angels tinkle with celebration -
Risen is our Savior, who is still
Interceding on everyone's behalf.
Satan is defeated, now and forever more.
Today is a gift, for it's always present;
Make room in your heart to share Love
And let the Joy of the Lord flow freely.
Saints, sinners arise... and be glad in Him!

Lost Christmas
Crowded shopping centres
Hoards of people pushing past
Rushing to get the next hollow gift
Irritations rise and tempers flare
Smiles are a distant past
Trudging about under society's burden
Miraculous birth and salvation of Man
A message lost under consumer greed
Surely something must change?

Holly must have berries bright,
Real Carols Sung to tunes to know,
Igloos, noses all aglow!
Samething happens every year
Tatty decorations need repair!
Mistletoe, is strictly 'No No'.
Animals! They just have to go!
