Just say happy Darwin day to everyone you meet.

Um...why exactly?

Why is it always the catholic's fault?????....come on John...you can't blame Darwin on us!!!!

I don't agree. What about the Orthodox Churches?

He has caused enough trouble why celebrate. He is a miserable old fool and should be left in peace.

Sorry John, you've forgotten that Darwin had intended to become a vicar in the CoE so any blame if there is blame should go there.

My two pennyworth is to forget about this day, there are more important issues like Hatie, evangelism, live etc.

John yetta nother John on this forum!

I blame his family - they obviously gave him genes for good science and brought him up with an open and inquisitive mind (his grandad, Erasmus, was one of the great minds who founded the Lunar Society and was thoroughly non-conformist).

John T....generally I'm theologically confused!!! (can't I just take the good bits from both?!)

Or perhaps you are one of those who recognize that we only see as if through a mirror dimly, and that now we only know in part.

Don't let people put you in a box Janice (well, at least for a while yet!).

I like the way the message puts it (1 Corinthians 13:12)....

We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
